Ryan Terry's gym do's and don'ts

Ryan Terry is an IFBB men’s physique pro and is the first European to qualify for the prestigious Olympia show, so it's fair to say he knows a thing or two about the gym. Here's some top advice fromt the man himself...

DO

1 – "Allow your muscles time to repair and recover before hitting them again."

2 – "Follow a nutritional plan that fits your individual needs and goals."

3 – "If it’s your first time in a gym, ask for assistance or to be shown around for the first few weeks. This will help you familiarise yourself with the exercises and equipment."

DON'T

1 – "Don’t take your ego in to the gym and lift weights that you can’t even lift off the rack as injuries will occur."

2 – "Don’t ignore your rest days as they are vital in building muscle tissue and recovery."

3 – "Don’t stay in the gym too long, use your anabolic window efficiently and maximise results."
