Do a bit of running and do some good for charity – what's not to like?

If you've not heard of Running Heroes, it's an online running community that works with brands to offer you rewards for running. But, crucially, it also works with charities.

On 15th September, they will be launching #MyMileMatters. What's that you ask? It's a chance to do a bit of exercise and feel good about yourself. Or, if you want a proper answer, it's a major charity fundraising initiative.

The launch day takes place in Bankside, Central London with a mix of partners, media, bloggers and celebrities to run one mile and kick start the campaign.

Here's why you should join. All those who join the campaign via the website www.runningheroes.com (from Thursday 8th September) enter a free draw to win £3,000 for their nominated charity and a running holiday worth £1,500 for themselves courtesy of www.tracks-and-trails.com.

All you have to do is commit to run at least one mile, six times, in the six week period (8th September - 20th October 2016).
