33 green bottles

Iconic rucksack made from the past, with the future in mind

In the UK alone we produce more than 400 million tonnes of waste every year, and that’s not good for anyone. But luckily Fjallraven has launched its most environmentally friendly offering yet, the Re-Kanken.

Just 11 recycled plastic bottles goes into making one of these original rucksacks and the SpinDye tech reduces the amount of energy, water and chemicals used to make the bag. The material can even be recycled itself when it’s at the end of its life, and they still come in a range of bright colours.
